How to Get Crystals
The complete guide to mining, farming, and using crafting crystals.
Crystals are the backbone of your crafting economy in One More Delve. Every weapon upgrade, armor piece, and spell enhancement requires crystals. Understanding how to mine them efficiently is the single most impactful skill for progression.
Where to Find Crystals
Crystals spawn on dungeon walls throughout all five dungeon levels. They glow with a distinctive color that stands out against dark dungeon environments.
Common crystal spawn locations:
- At room intersections and T-junctions
- Along outer walls of dungeon rooms
- In corners and alcoves
- Occasionally in the center of large rooms
- Near dead ends
Crystals do not spawn in every room. Dungeon layouts are procedural — some runs will have more mining opportunities than others.
How to Mine Crystals
- Reach for your pickaxe on your belt.
- Grip the trigger to pick it up.
- Physically swing the pickaxe at the crystal.
- It takes 3-5 swings to fully mine a crystal.
- The crystal drops crafting materials when fully broken.
Mine every crystal you see. Running past unmined crystals is a waste of a run’s potential.
Dungeon Level and Crystal Quality
Higher dungeon levels contain rarer crystal tiers:
- Dungeon 1 and 2: Common crystals, sufficient for early weapon upgrades
- Dungeon 3: Rare crystals required for mid-tier upgrades
- Dungeon 4 and 5: Epic crystals for endgame gear
Efficient Farming Strategy
The most material-efficient farming method:
- Run Dungeon 1 repeatedly. It is fast to clear and crystals respawn with each new procedural run.
- Mine everything. Do not skip crystals to rush through rooms.
- Exit before attempting the boss if your goal is pure material farming. Boss chest loot and boss blueprint are not materials — killing the boss is not necessary for crystal farming.
- Bank materials at the forge before each run to prevent loss on death.
In Co-op
Split the dungeon. One player mines while another fights. This doubles crystal acquisition rate without slowing combat pace.

Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the most common questions about One More Delve.
Do crystals respawn if I leave a dungeon and come back?
No. Each dungeon run is a single session. Leaving the dungeon ends the run. Starting a new run generates a fresh procedural dungeon with new crystal placements.
Are there crystals in the hub?
No. Crystals only appear in dungeon environments. The hub is a safe crafting and social space with no combat or mining.
Should I prioritize crystals or enemy loot when I am running low on inventory space?
Enemies drop coins (which do not take inventory space) and occasionally materials. Crystals are the primary bottleneck. Prioritize crystals when inventory is tight.
