Forge Guide
How crafting works — from blueprint to finished weapon.
The forge is One More Delve’s crafting system. It is located in the social hub and is where all weapon and armor crafting takes place. Understanding the forge fully is essential for efficient progression.
Forge Location
The forge is in the social hub, clearly marked with a large anvil and blacksmith area. Enter the hub and follow the central path — the forge is on the right side.
How to Use the Forge
Step 1: Select a Blueprint
Approach the forge display. Scroll through available blueprints. Each blueprint shows:
- Item name and tier
- Required materials
- Stat bonuses
Select the blueprint for the item you want to craft.
Step 2: Verify Materials
The game displays required materials. Ensure you have all required materials in your inventory before proceeding. Materials are consumed upon successful craft completion.
Step 3: Hammer the Anvil
The forging minigame begins. Grab the hammer from the forge stand. Swing the hammer onto the anvil repeatedly.
The forging animation requires 10-15 consistent swings. Stopping mid-animation pauses the craft — you can resume without penalty.
Step 4: Collect Your Item
Once the forging animation completes, the item is added to your inventory. It does not auto-equip.
Crafting Order Recommendations
The most efficient crafting order for new players:
- Upgrade your sword first — your primary damage dealer, upgraded sword reduces dungeon clear time
- Upgrade your armor — better armor extends survivability and reduces potion consumption
- Craft a shield — if not already using one, a shield is essential for boss fights
- Craft a bow or ranged option — useful for pulling single enemies before entering a room
Material Farming
For the most efficient material farming:
- Mine every crystal node in dungeons
- Collect all enemy drops before returning to hub
- Higher dungeons yield approximately 2x crystals per node compared to lower dungeons
See the Crystals and Recipes pages for detailed material information.

Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the most common questions about One More Delve.
How does the forge work in One More Delve?
Select a blueprint at the forge, then physically hammer the anvil to craft the item. The forging animation requires you to grip the hammer and swing it onto the anvil repeatedly until the craft completes.
How many swings does it take to craft an item?
Basic items take approximately 10-15 hammer swings. Higher-tier items require more swings. The exact number is not displayed — you must complete the full animation.
Do I lose materials if I fail a craft?
No. If you stop hammering before completion, the craft simply does not progress. Your materials are not consumed until the item is successfully forged.
What happens after I craft an item?
After crafting, you must visit the armory to equip the new item. Crafted items do not auto-equip — you must manually select and equip them before they appear in your loadout.
