Crafting & Progression

Forge weapons, armor, and spells at the hub — then equip them at the armory.

Last updated:

Crafting is the core progression system in One More Delve. Unlike games with character levels, your power comes entirely from the gear you craft and equip. Understanding the crafting system is essential to progressing beyond the early dungeon levels.

The Forge

The forge is located in the social hub. To craft an item:

  1. Walk to the forge and look at the crafting board.
  2. Select a blueprint you have acquired (weapon or armor blueprints drop from enemies).
  3. The forge displays the material cost.
  4. Physically pick up the hammer next to the forge.
  5. Hammer on the anvil to forge the item. The crafting progress is animated — you must hammer until the item is complete.

Material Types

Crystals

Glowing minerals found throughout dungeons. Mined with your pickaxe from dungeon walls. Primary crafting material for all gear upgrades.

Enemy Drops

Defeated enemies drop blueprint fragments and crafting materials. Higher dungeon levels drop rarer materials.

Coins

Earned from defeating enemies and smashing objects. Spent at the hub shop on health potions and new spell types.

Blueprints

Blueprints are loot drops that unlock crafting recipes. Without a blueprint, you cannot craft a specific item. Blueprints are not shared between players in co-op — each player must find their own.

The Armory

After crafting an item, you must equip it at the armory. Walk to the armory station in the hub and physically select each piece of gear to equip it. Forgetting to equip crafted gear is a common beginner mistake.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common questions about One More Delve.

How do I get blueprints?

Blueprints drop from defeated enemies as loot. Higher dungeon levels have better drop rates for rare blueprints. Bosses guarantee a blueprint drop.

Can I craft without a blueprint?

No. You must have the specific blueprint for an item before you can craft it. The forge interface will only show craftable items you have blueprints for.

What happens if I die with crafted gear equipped?

Your equipped gear remains with you when you respawn in the hub. Only carried loot (unbanked drops) is lost on death.
