Bow Controls
Manual nocking, draw strength, and post-patch aiming tips.
The bow in One More Delve is fully physics-based: you grab an arrow, nock it on the string, draw, aim, and release. There is no crosshair. The June 8, 2026 patch improved bow stability and made aiming easier after Early Access complaints about spin and body collision.
Basic Bow Sequence
- Reach to your shoulder slot and grip the bow.
- With your off-hand, grab an arrow from your quiver.
- Physically place the arrow on the bowstring (nocking).
- Pull the string back — draw distance affects damage.
- Release to fire.
July 23, 2026 Improvements
Steam patch notes confirm:
- More stable aiming (less wobble at full draw)
- Removed bow collision with the player body (reduced spin bugs)
- Aim rotation adjustments for off-hand consistency
Common Problems
Bow spins when drawing near body — mostly fixed May–July 23, 2026. Keep the bow extended in front of your chest.
Missed shots — without a crosshair, aim using the arrow tip and enemy silhouettes. Practice in the hub on targets.
Why use bow vs Flintlock? — Bows reward skilled players with higher sustained DPS at range. Flintlock pistols (1.0) trade complexity for accessibility.
